Some good things happening with the etsy, I’ve managed to sell a few things but it is going slow. The digital downloads doesnt seem to work in the slightest so I think I’m not going to continue with that as much. The prints shop has had a few sales but its hard to justify spending on advertising. I want to giggle things about a little but will continue since I gave myself a rough time and amount to spend. The time isn’t up at all. I’m finding it really difficult to get information about visitors and search terms from etsy too, which is really frustrating. I also had facebook post become popular in the wrong sense. It seems to have been shared around between spammers since it went from 2 views to nearly 500 and all I got was extra spam.
Anyhow, new images have been coming. I really liked the previous post where I shared the pink floral textured looking print, I have a few of these, some work for me some don’t. I have the understanding now though about how recreate the same type of image. You remember the whole “in the style of” post. It turns out that can be really useful. These could be really useful for notebooks or phone cases, which I know is a whole new story. More on this soon.
I also tried some more outrageous vibrant funky styles. They are work in progress.
The Pastel World images are developing well. I even thought to name the planet, though that seems a little silly. HD 90156 Somnia d or Kepler-2459 Tranquila Thalassia b are the 2 contenders but we’ll see. Also the trouble with that is the naming comes from off-world. What I mean here is we call our own world Earth and the next rocky planet Mars. Do you think if Mars had any advanced lifeforms living on it they would call their planet Mars and ours Earth? So Pastel World is only Pastel World to me and not to anyone that might have lived there.
This is utterly ridiculous I know, but I haven’t spend far to long thinking about it!
Hmmm, these are area to structures closer up and some streets as it were, I made a few interior shots but they arent quite right. Here they are anyways but they need further development I think.
I opened a zazzle.com as well. If anyone can share some light into that monster I would be grateful.
