Something of a Nightmare

If any of you have seen my socials this week you’ll know that I’ve had a bit of of an issue with Redbubble. Whilst writing the last post on here, ironically about selling on the site they decided to suspend/close my account. There was no warning, no explanation, nothing. Thanks for 10 years!

Now, as you might of seen I don’t sell much there and until recently haven’t uploaded much for a while so it isn’t really a great loss. I am however very annoyed that since it seemed to be starting to go somewhere I was getting exited about the platform, trying my hand at new things. I’ve never been one for stickers and phone cases but tried a few things. I find notebooks interesting.

But then, Friday evening, I cant visit the store, login and then get the email. “We’re writing to let you know that your account has been suspended.” Like I say, my real problem here is that there was nothing else, no reason provided, no explanation no warning about whatever the issue might be. I’m searching high an low in my mind to think what the problem could be. Am I stuffing tags? Should I have marked the one work mature? Can I not put my name on something? I thought it might be that for a while, I suppose it could be. Maybe they thought since its a name I don’t have copyright, might just be not allowed. I can’t find anywhere in the handbook it says that might be the case though. So I am at a loss. I genuinely cannot think what the problem is, and why they didn’t just say something. You know like reasonable people with good businesses.

People around the interest seem to have varying opinions as usual but the consensus is that sometimes Redbubble seem to suspend accounts, close them down and no one ever finds you why, they don’t talk to anyone about it, very few people get a response from them and almost no one gets their account back.

So, in conclusion, I like the look of Society6. Hope to see you there for the next 10 years.
