AI Art: A Twist on the Contemporary

I’ve always been drawn to the pulse of contemporary art – the bold, the thought-provoking, and sometimes the downright weird. That’s why my website is all about showcasing the cutting edge of expression, including the fascinating world of AI art, digital design and photography, a smorgasbord of mixed media.

From Concept to Pixels

Think of me as your guide into this realm where algorithms become art tools. I love playing with AI art generators, feeding them words and concepts to see what they spit back. Want a vibrant, abstract city-scape? A swirling, emotion-drenched dream-scape? These tools translate my ideas into images, infusing contemporary abstract art with the digital. It’s all about the artwork.

This isn’t just about random generation. It’s a collaboration with the unexpected. Sometimes I’m taken aback by the beauty of what the Artificial Intelligence produces – pieces that would be perfect as large contemporary wall art or modern wall art prints. Other times…well, that’s part of the fun!

My AI Art Experiments

Let me show you what I mean.

I do offer some of these for sale, others are for featured images on this site, the one with the snail is so stunning and yet I never did anything with it, it doesn’t really fit with me. Other images are created for the purpose of being sold.

The anime character is used on notebook and phone case, the cake a t-shirt. Sometimes the bizarre just wins out.

I’m not sure what to do with some of these but think they are amazing all the same.

Can AI Art Pay the Bills?

While the thrill of creating drives me, there’s also the practical side. People are discovering and buying ai generated art and not so much anymore NFT’s. It’s exciting to see spaces dedicated to this niche, but you might be surprised to find AI art popping up on general sites selling contemporary art prints and contemporary artwork.

I have a Society6 account and of course etsy. The Society6 has a particular niche, as does the etsy in reality although they are both quite different.

The Future is Bright (and a Bit Chaotic)

Can AI replace the human touch? Absolutely NOT! But it’s an amazing addition to the contemporary artist’s toolkit. It democratises creation (as the common buzzwords go), opening up the field of contemporary art for sale in thrilling ways. If you’re searching for that unique piece of modern artwork for home or modern contemporary wall art, AI-generated options might be your next bold purchase, you can do it yourself or buy cheap and affordable art by someone already in that space.

This digital art landscape is young and unpredictable. It’s exciting to be amongst all the contemporary artists of today pushing boundaries, exploring what ai art can truly mean. You’ll find the work using terms like ai art creator, artificial intelligence artworks, and even just ai artist, though people do dislike this term, I’m not about it myself. To be fair, I’ve never been comfortable with the word, as a photographer or designer. I really just like to make things or try to see the world in a new way.
